Kirsten Garrison is a Fantasy and Science Fiction writer who previously worked in the software industry and as a freelance ghostwriter for law offices. She is an avid horror movie fan, a collector of hobbies, and an everyday reader.

Though she writes SFF, as a reader she consumes the same genres plus horror, romance, thriller, feminist non-fiction, and literary fiction. Her heart has a special little place for Greek-myth retellings. Mythology and folklore inspires much of her own work.

She lives in Texas with her husband (John) and daughter (Francine), dog (Dorian), two cats (Virginia and Gregor), and snake (Hester Prynne). Yes, all her pets are named after literary characters.
