I work as a Software Project Manager and a freelance ghostwriter for law offices. My work has been published in several industry journals, newsletters, and websites. I'm a woman in STEM, an avid horror movie fan, and an everyday reader (it’d probably be more unusual if I wasn’t, huh?).

I write adult science fiction and fantasy. As a reader, I consume the same genres, though my tastes range into horror, romance, thriller, feminist non-fiction, and literary fiction. My heart has a special little place for Greek-myth retellings. Mythology and folklore inspires much of my own work.

I live in Texas with my husband (John), dog (Dorian), two cats (Gatsby and Gregor), and snake (Hester Prynne). Yes, all my pets are named after literary characters.
